Dark Matter Institute is unlocked after the first '''[[Black Hole]]''' and it allows players to purchase new technologies for [[Resources#Dark Matter|'''Dark Matter''']].
Unlike most upgrades, the technologies in Dark Matter Institute are permanent and cannot be are not lost in planetary attacks or resetupon entering a Black Hole.
The Institute has three two tech trees. Purchasing an upgrade from one tree does not lock you out from the other treestree.
Each technology can only be purchased once ==Reset==Resetting one tech tree costs {{Diamond icon}}10 and cannot be sold or disabledreturns the spent Dark Matter back to the player.
