There are seven research types, all of which are unlocked by [[Xutrutis|Planet 9]], the only exception being [[Research#Bacteria Irradiation|Bacteria Irradiation]].
Bacteria Irradiation is unlocked only after 5 planets past the first [[Black Hole]].
